Attorney Anne Morgan, OWNER

Anne began helping people win Social Security Disability benefits at our firm in 2010, and has since helped many people in Indiana and Michigan.

“I chose this area of law because I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives,” Anne says. “I spent many years working in a personal injury law firm as a paralegal and I was very familiar with all types of medical conditions and how they could affect someone’s ability to function so it was a natural fit.”

“These benefits help people keep a roof over their head and food on their table,” Anne says. “I always wanted to make that kind of difference.”

Education Background

Anne received her B.S. in Administrative Law from Ball State University and her J.D. from Valparaiso University.

She took a non-traditional route to law school and didn’t attend until she was in her late 40s.

“I was at an age where I felt an overwhelming need to use my skills to really make a change in a person’s life for the better,” Anne says. After completing her externship with Bob Rosenfeld, she witnessed firsthand how winning disability benefits for clients made a huge difference in clients’ lives.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Anne is a member of the American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, St. Joseph County Bar Association and the Inn of Court of St. Joseph County.

“My husband and I were both born and raised in South Bend so the local community is very important to us,” Anne says. Anne’s husband is a plaintiff attorney in South Bend at Pfeifer, Morgan & Stesiak. Anne’s oldest son was in law school at the same time as her and now practices in Chicago.
